Tejal’s Film Consulting
"Tejal's invaluable contributions as our diversity, equity, and inclusion/yoga consultant profoundly elevated the production of my short film centered around an LA-based hot yoga studio.
Their expert guidance not only enriched the script with humor and authenticity but also ensured mindful and conscious casting choices.
Tejal's insights and expertise were instrumental in shaping a narrative that truly reflects Los Angeles-based yoga culture."
- Jacqui, Director of “HOT!” short film
"Tejal is a phenomenal consultant for Yoga concepts and cultural history; she brings a wealth of firsthand knowledge as a seasoned instructor and educator.
It was essential to involve Tejal in our film to ensure a level of authenticity we’ve often observed to be missing from films and television with regard to Yoga poses, etiquette, and advocacy.
We became aware of Tejal because of their podcast, Yoga Is Dead, which served as an invaluable resource about cultural appropriation in the yoga and athleisure industries.
She approached our film with enthusiasm and curiosity, and we look forward to collaborating again!"
- Rish and Kanish (Untitled Project, currently in production)
